Update

I went to the doctor the other day for my first real baby appointment. It was a pretty uneventful appointment. We went over the past births and family health history. She told me I was pretty boring, but that boring was a good thing...lol. The baby is good, I got to hear the heart beat a little bit and she said it was around 160. That is a lot higher than the one on the sono in December, it was around 120. They did all of the blood work which I guess is ok because I have not gotten a call yet. I am now 12 weeks and counting... I can not wait to find out what this LAST little one is. Yes, the last!! Brian asked me a few weeks ago who was getting fixed, well you, duh... I had them all that is the least you can do!! I am kind of sad but then again I will have my hands full with 4 and I know that I could not do any more. With working up in DC and getting home so late it is just to much sometimes already. We are just so blessed that we have my mom and his mom to help us out with watching the kids. If we didn't then I really don't think we could have had more kids. I don't know what we would do with out them.
Well next week I'm off to FL for my Birthday with my husband so I can not wait!! I'm going to my girlfriends wedding, who does not think I am coming! It is going to be a surprise for her. I can't wait.

This weekend I'm taking pictures for the Pink Tie Event for Breast Cancer, it is a fund raiser for the walk they are doing in a few months. It is going to be fun, and also scary for me. I have never done a event before like this and I just want to do a good job. It should be fun... wish me luck!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year!!

I am glad the holidays are over! We had a great Christmas and the kids got a lot of nice stuff. The house is back to normal and everything has been put away. WE did find out some good news before the holidays and that is that I am expecting another baby!! Crazy I know...

The kids are so happy and can not wait to find out what we are having. Brooke my baby girl, well she is going to be in for it. I feel so bad that she is still just a baby herself. I watched my sisters baby the other night and Brooke did not like the attention I was giving to the baby, not one bit. So I know that this will be hard for her. I just hope that it is not hard on me. This will be the closest two kids of them all... only 23 months apart. This will be a different experience this time for me too. I will be potty training one and having one in diapers and just everything all together will be diff. Brooke will be going through the terrible two's and then the three's all when the baby is brand new. I kind of feel bad for her because I got to be with the younger two and have all my attention was on them when they where that young. This time I will have a little baby to take care of while she is still so young. I guess I am just wondering how it will all go. I know that it will be fine in the end. We are hoping this time to have a little boy but any thing healthy will be just fine too!!

I will try hard to keep this up to date since I have something to more to write about now. I will be going to the dr. on January 21st for my first appt. with my baby dr. My last appt. was to take the blood test and then I went for a sono. I was only 7weeks 1 day then on December 17th. The baby's heart rate was 120 and was the size of a grain of rice! I can't wait to go and hear the heart beat again on the 21st! OH! this time has been horrible with the sickness. I have been feeling sick all day long and just so tired!! I hope this part ends soon!

Better Late then never!

It has been a while again. I have been pretty busy at home with the kids and all the everyday stuff. Trying to get the winter clothes out and the summer ones put away.. still not done with mine. Just can't seem to find the time to get it all done. Haven't cleaned the house like I should in weeks, just been so dang busy. Halloween has come and gone and it was a fun one this year. We had a Halloween party at the in laws house that was lots of fun! Here are some pictures from the party!

I have been out on the weekends with soccer, which is now over for the year. Ethan's team did well they did not win the game this weekend so they did not make it to the playoff games. It is ok he loved it and I know he can't wait to play again. He was kind of sad that it was over. It was very fun to have him be involved in something and I'm feel bad that I waited so long to put him in a sport. It is just hard with the work schedule to get him where he needs to be. I'm glad Brian was able to be there and help out!

This past weekend I went and took pictures of the kids and tried to take pictures of Megan and Ayden. It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be that's for sure!! But I think I got some good ones of the kids, and I'm happy about how things are going with my learning. Still have a ways to go.. I'm taking more this weekend!! Can't wait!!

I didn't get what I wanted of Brooke so I will be trying again this weekend to get what I'm looking for. I need her to LOOK at ME and I'll be happy to catch just one shot like that of her!! lol. Have a good week!! I'll TRY to be better about posting!

I'm a SLACKER!!

Well It has been a month and a lot has been going on. My baby girl turned one and she is just getting to be such a ham.

She has now been taking more and more steps everyday, pretty soon she will be running around with the older kids! School is going well for both kids and they like the teachers this year which is a great thing.

Ethan has been playing soccer and he just enjoys that so much, I feel bad it has taken so long for us to be able to get him into it. Here is him in action.

Oh yea and my son turned 9 can you believe it 9 years old on Oct. 6th (which is also mee-maw's birthday too!)

We have a VERY busy weekend with two games, a wedding, and of course the REDSKINS game. OH and I also have to visit a friend of my who gave birth to her third baby tonight. Her name is Hannah Lynn Bowen, I can't wait to meet her. My sister is due on Monday and I can not wait till baby Caleb is here! There are sooo many people that I know that are getting ready to have their babies! Makes me want another...NOT...yet that is... :)

Another thing that is exciting in my life is my photography. Me and a friend of mine Megan went last weekend to take pictures of twins, Dillon and Madelyn, that was very interesting to say the least. It was differently a learning experience. I think we both got a lot of of the shoot and know next time that twins are very very hard to do unless they both are asleep at the same time and these two were not. But we did get some cute pictures I think. Here is one that I like of the two of them.

I will try very hard to post more often but it is not easy when I don't have to much time to myself! It is now midnight and I need to get to bed!! Early morning...off to the soccer field and then off to the Eastern Shore for the wedding with the kiddies. Should be a fun, long, tiring day!

My love of photoghrapy

I am currently taking an online class given by a brilliant photographer her name is Sheye Rosemeyer. It has been a huge help in learning how to turn my some what good photos into the photos that I have been trying to get. She is wonderful! I still have a lot of learning to do and A LOT of practice. I just need more time in my day!! I wish I could do this full time and devote all my attention to this but that is just so dang hard right now. So I'm trying my best at fitting it all in.



Here is a picture she fixed up for me.. It is just crazy what you can do with Photoshop!!

She added a bit of color pop and smoothed out her skin and reduced the "noise"(grain in the photo) in the photo.

This weekend is Brooke's 1st Birthday!! I'm so excited on one hand but on the other I'm so sad that my baby is not a baby any more. Pretty soon she will be walking and talking and then be just like my little angel Elisabeth (MISS ATTITUDE) lol... and MR. Ethan.. wow it is just crazy how time just flies by.

Ethan's first Soccer game should be this weekend also and I'm looking forward to that so I can take some pictures!! I know he can't wait either. He loves it and he is one of the more determined players on the team. There are a few kids on the team that I wonder why they are even out there...

Fresh Start

We are in the middle of making upgrades to our home and it has been a lot of fun. I have been re-decorating my house with the help of my mother-in-law. Which sometimes is just not so fun. She has been holding it back for a long time now but I have come to realize that she did not think I did a great job on decorating. lol SO I am starting over! We got new floors in the house while we were on vacation and they are great. The kitchen is my favorite with pretty ceramic tile, except for the fact that now we have to be extra careful not to drop anything. I have also redecorated my living room thanks to Target!! :) It is all coming together but I really have so much more to go. Here is a picture of the new kitchen and living room.

I would love to get a new table and chairs but that is a not in the budget right now...I want to get a nice round one with a leaf in it.

The kids have pictures today at school.. hope they smile good!! I'll post the pictures when I get them back.
